7 Days To Die Is Now Fully Released After 12 Years

Version 1.0 is now launched!

7 Days To Die, Twelve Years Of Survival

Finally Out Of Early Access

After 12 years of being in the Early Access stage and with over 224,000 reviews on Steam, 7 Days to Die is now fully released at Version 1.0! This full release version is available for purchase on PC through Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $44.99 USD.

“This milestone release heralds a groundbreaking evolution in the survival horror genre, packed with a wealth of new content, innovative new features, polish, transformative quality-of-life improvements, optimizations, and revolutionary gameplay systems,” shared developer The Fun Pimps in the launch post.
If you own an older console copy of the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and are interested in upgrading to the next-gen version, you will be able to purchase the new edition with a 25% discount for the next thirty days starting the 25th. Otherwise, despite it being delisted on the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores, the Telltale-published edition of the game will still be available to play for those who already own the product.

However, players in Japan and South Korea who would like to play on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will have to wait a little longer, as the developer-publisher is still working on its ratings and getting approval to sell in these regions.

High Ratings And 1000 Reviews Within The First 14 Hours

The official 7 Days to Die X (Twitter) posted that they have reached a small, but celebratory milestone—the PlayStation 5 edition on the PlayStation Store has garnered over 1000 reviews with a 4.95 out of 5 stars rating. As of writing, it has reached over 2000 reviews, 95% of which were 5-star reviews.

Many fans took to the replies to support the game, calling the game amazing, and congratulating them on finally releasing the full game after years of early access and development. Most are hyped for the game, sharing that they’ve been waiting literal years for this.

The “Definitive Zombie Survival RPG That Came First”

With over 18 million copies sold around the world in its decade-long history, 7 Days to Die has surely cemented their legacy as one of the first open-world zombie-themed sandbox survival RPG, combining the best of genres such as FPS, survival horror, tower defense, and RPGs. The game promises a whole lot of content for everyone of all walks of interests, whether you want to be a warrior tirelessly protecting your base or one of the bases’ architects out to create their newest and functional masterpiece.

With a full release out, it’s time to dive into this open-world zombie sandbox RPG that stole the hearts (or brains) of many and started the craze for this genre. Navezgane awaits you!
