Yummy Games’ Project Tower, the third-person bullet hell shooter with a unique transforming mechanic, has a demo available on their Steam page!
You play as one of the last remaining human survivors on Earth, a planet ravaged by aliens called the Hiks who have enslaved humanity. In order to achieve their goal of conquering the universe, the Project Tower program was created to train their army. Human survivors are taken prisoner by the alien overlords, and forced to fight in the towers as part of the army’s training. You are one of the lucky inmates chosen to participate in this battle royale. It’s a fight to the death, to the top of the tower, where the awaiting prize is your freedom.
Project Tower employs a third-person perspective while you shoot down enemies in intense bullet hell combat. Your player is also able to make use of a special morphing ability, shapeshifting into various creatures and objects, providing certain tactical advantages against the enemies you face. The game also promises an immersive sci-fi universe, the tower itself full of secrets, surprises, and lore for you to discover.
It is currently in development for PC (Steam and Epic Games), and PlayStation, and is planning a Q3 2024 release date. Stay tuned for updates!
