Showcase your skills in the latest update for Cassette Beasts! Bytten Studio has announced that the Gauntlet Update will launch on November 20, introducing a new mode that tests everything you’ve learned in the game.

In this update, you’ll have the chance to face enemy bosses and rivals once again in an endless battle. Magikrab will call on your combat expertise as you “hop on one of the Mer-line's interdimensional trains and battle allies, enemies, and bosses from your past.” Magikrab will reward your efforts handsomely, including fusion materials for the new Sticker Fusion feature. Stickers represent monster moves in battle, and it will be exciting to discover the new moves unlocked through this feature.

You don’t have to face this endless battle mode alone. Bring a friend along on the interdimensional train and display your combat prowess against past foes in co-op online multiplayer! Plus, you can show off your fashion sense with the Fashion Pack DLC, featuring new cosmetics like Tall Boots, a Baseball Cap, and more.

Record Monsters And Use Them In Battles!

Welcome, aspiring ranger, to New Wirral—an island where people from different timelines and mysterious creatures coexist. In Cassette Beasts, you’ll team up with various NPCs to uncover the truth behind this space-time anomaly and, perhaps, find a way back home. To survive on this island shrouded in mystery, you must catch monsters and harness their powers.

As a trainee ranger, your first task is to master the art of using cassette tapes to capture and store monsters. Most battles are fought in 2v2 matches, where you’ll battle alongside your Partner, a friendly ranger. During combat, you’ll fuse with your chosen monster and gain its moves. Additionally, if you strengthen your bond with a specific Partner, your monsters can fuse, transforming into a new creature with a stat boost and access to both monsters' moves.

In addition to monsters, you’ll encounter rangers who will challenge you to a battle if you enter their line of sight. These rangers also wield their own cassette tapes, making battles with them even more challenging. Defeating all the Ranger Captains on the island is your path to becoming a full-fledged ranger. Lowering a monster’s HP makes it more susceptible to capture. Unlike in Pokémon, you’ll record these creatures onto cassette tapes. You can have up to six monsters on hand to swap during combat. If you capture more than six, they’ll be stored in your tape inventory. With nearly 140 monsters to capture and countless fusion combinations, try your best to record them all!
