Cat Cafe Manager 2 reaches its €40,000 EUR Kickstarter goal ($44,505 USD) with 1115 backers in two weeks since going live! To celebrate this milestone and as a way to thank all the supporters, every single backer, both present backers and those interested in funding, will be getting a free digital art book! The exclusive Kickstarter backer digital art book will feature behind-the-scenes concept art, gorgeous high-res art illustrations from the game, and even little snippets of lore on the Cat Cafe Manager 2 world. It will be delivered around mid-2026, around the same time as the game is released on Early Access.

The developers over at Roost Games have been hard at work creating the second Cat Cafe Manager into the game they envisioned it to be, posting updates and additions as they go along. As they weren’t able to make it in the first iteration, they’re pulling out all the stops for the second! The cats will be given more spotlight this time around, allowing players to work together with the cats, taking care of them while getting to know their likes and dislikes. Interact with the cats well and manage their needs, Nintendogs style!

Next Up, The First Stretch Goal!

Now that the game’s funding goal has been met, the first stretch goal is now the one to aim for! Kickstarter Stretch Goals are additional funding goals that usually enable developers to add more features to the game, or bring about extra rewards for the backers. The next goal sits at €50,000 EUR for Cafe Outside Customization, which will allow players to change the colors, walls, signage, plants, and furniture in the cafe’s exterior, giving more opportunities to make your cat cafe just the way you want it to be.
