Castle Pixel, the developers behind the Blossom Tale series and Playtonic Friends have announced their new cowboy simulation game, Cattle Country. This game takes players on the frontier where they can build a community, do cattle ranching and enjoy life in the country. The game will be available for PC via Steam with an open beta launching this October 25, 2024.

Cattle Country Is A Mix of Farming, Crafting, and Wild West Adventure

Cattle Country invites players to experience the life of a pioneer in a rugged untamed wilderness of the American Wild West. The game feels like Stardew Valley meets Red Dead Redemption and combines the peaceful charm of farming and the exciting dangers of the Wild West.

Based on the new trailer showcased at Convergence 2024, the game features a vast open world environment where players can engage in a variety of activities such as farming, cattle ranching, hunting, fishing, and mining. Players will also be able to defend their land and engage in combat with raiders.

Players joining the Cattle Country Open Beta will find themselves managing a pre-built ranch as well as meeting Mayor Archibald, who runs the town. From there, they will be responsible for herding and caring for livestock, while also handling the financial side of running a ranch as well as cultivating crops.
