Cult Of The Lamb Celebrates 2nd Anniversary With Major Update And DLC

Happy 2nd birthday to the all-powerful Lamb!

2 Years Of Cult Of The Lamb

Celebrate The Anniversary With Fellow Cultists In London!

To celebrate the second anniversary of the game with a bang, a Cult of the Lamb Birthday Bash will be held offline in The Loading Bar in London on Friday, August 16th! Join your fellow Cultists to toast to the game’s second birthday along with the launch of the major update, Unholy Alliance. Get ready for a fully loaded night of games, fun, and praising the all-powerful Lamb.

It will feature music with a live DJ, special prizes for the Cultists who come all decked out in their best party wear, a slice of forbidden flavor birthday cake, and 2-4-1 drinks when you bring your bestie along! Because of that, the party is strictly 18+ due to the presence of alcohol. Players can even play Unholy Alliance right at the party.

As of writing, the birthday event tickets are all currently sold out. However, developer Massive Monster said on the post “Where would you like to see us do an event next?” thus hinting at more offline Cult of the Lamb events coming real soon. Stay tuned for more!

But don’t worry, global players! Because it’s the Lamb’s birthday week, players will be treated to a whole week full of birthday surprises for every-lamb to enjoy.

Major Update, Unholy Alliance

Unholy Alliance, Cult of the Lamb’s upcoming major update, is arriving on August 12th. It will add a ton of new content, such as new structures like the Nursery, new follower traits to add a bit of challenge to cult management, the new Knucklebones arena, Cowboy Lamb, and most importantly, local co-op!

With the introduction of local co-op comes a whole new character—The Goat! As the dark reflection of The Lamb from a different realm, The Goat can do all that The Lamb can. You can even take on the form of The Goat instead for your single-player game if that is to your liking. In local co-op, two players can form a deadly duo to explore dungeons, defeat the Heretics, and grow the cult together. Crusades are better than ever before to accommodate two players, with new relics and tarot cards, and the option to swap weapons and score combos when playing in sync.

A number of these content updates are from player suggestions, so these features are 100% Cultist approved!

Pilgrim Pack DLC Features A New Comic Book Adventure

Paid DLC The Pilgrim Pack will also launch on August 12th alongside the free major update. This DLC takes on a wholly different path from the game’s usual cosmetic DLCs—The Pilgrim Pack is an interactive digital comic where players will be pulled into a colorful choose-your-own-adventure featuring two new characters, one who is named Jalala. Not only that, it will also come with new secret quests, Follower forms, outfits, and buildings. Jalala themselves will also have their own new Follower quest in the main game.

The Pilgrim Pack will retail for $6.99 USD on PC through Steam, and $8.99 for consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).
