Depths of Duplicity introduces new content focused on bringing more challenging feats to the Caves, such as new enemies like the Shadow Thrall Ink Blight, Mimicreep, and the Ornery Chest, and a new Worm Boss to slay. Traversing the Depths has also been made easier with the addition of the Spelunker’s Bridge Kit for crossing those pesky chasm gaps. New shadow crafting items are also now available, such as the Beefalo Gloom Bell, the Nightmare Saddle, and the Shadow Maul to name a few.

Seasoned Don’t Starve Together players are in for a real challenge with these new additions to the Caves!

New Skins, New Goodies!

For the cosmetic-loving players, new skins have arrived! Huge troves of gorgeous skins like the Complete Roseate Chest, Constant Curator Chest, and the Rosy Rogues Chest are now available for purchase. Smaller, individual chests are also available—choose from character skin chests such as the Swashbuckler Trio Chest and Roseate Trio Chest, furniture skins like the Nouveau Terrace Chest, Favorite Things Chest, and the Parlor Woodworking Chest, or even new clothing items such as the Undaunted Chest. Full Steam Ahead For The Character Skillsets Update

The developers concluded the announcement with a slight teaser—the long-requested Character Skillsets feature is being actively worked on, and Klei is aiming for a December release of this update! More teasers and info will be released sometime in October, so keep your eyes peeled.

The Don’t Starve franchise has been out since 2013, starting off with the singleplayer title, then the multiplayer Don’t Starve Together following suit in 2016. Despite its long run, it still receives a constant flurry of updates and has an active player base, with DST raking in at least 10,000 concurrent players at any given time.
