Gas Station Simulator Devs Announced The Delay Of The Revamp Update

Will not be released until the update is smooth and bug-free

The Update Requires More Time

So Hold On To Your Gas Pumps For Now

DRAGO Entertainment has informed their fanbase on Steam that Gas Station Simulator's latest update will be postponed to a later date. Originally scheduled for release on November 7, the developers instead announced a delay for the Revamp Update. This update aims to enhance the game’s visuals, making art assets more realistic and lively while maintaining optimal performance. As they explained, “we want to make sure that every single update that we release to you is as error-free as possible while meeting your expectations.” With this in mind, the team decided it would be best to slightly delay the release to allow for further polishing.

Although this news may disappoint fans, the developers shared screenshots from the upcoming update, showcasing high-quality graphical improvements across the board. They reassured players that the update “is almost ready” and just needs “some final tweaks” to ensure a top-quality release. However, this delay could also impact the free Drive-In Cinema DLC, which is set to launch after completing the first phase of their roadmap (visual improvements, Car Junkyard DLC release, and performance optimization).
Although most fans on Steam are optimistic about this announcement, some players have raised concerns. One player mentioned that the game struggles in its original version, and the graphical revamp might introduce additional performance issues. Meanwhile, others are calling for a Quality of Life (QoL) and performance optimization update. While the delay announcement reveals little (aside from screenshots), you can follow the game on Steam to stay informed about future updates for Gas Station Simulator!

Manage A Car Junkyard Business While Waiting

While you wait for the Revamp Update, dive into the Car Junkyard DLC, the latest of the game’s paid content. You’ll follow the story of Sean, a car expert with zero business experience, as you help him turn his car junkyard into a profitable enterprise. Take some time off your gas station and enter the junkyard business!

In this DLC, you’ll scrap, scavenge, and rebuild cars that end up in your junkyard. You can sell the cars for their metal value for a quick buck, or you can salvage reusable parts to bring back to the garage. Keeping an eye on the market is crucial to securing the best deals. Special customers may request repairs using parts you’ve gathered from the junkyard. Additionally, you can send drivers across the USA to locate “valuable and interesting vehicles.” With Sean’s guidance, restore these finds to pristine condition and auction them to the highest bidder. However, some clients might request specific parts or decal patterns. Can you and Sean turn this business around?
The Car Junkyard DLC is available for purchase on Steam at $13.59 USD, a 20% discount from its original price of $16.99 USD. Additionally, the Station & Wrecks Bundle, which includes the base game and the Car Junkyard DLC, is 33% off, priced at $24.82 USD on the same platform.

If you don’t own the base game, it’s currently 30% off for $13.99 USD on both Steam and PlayStation. Gas Station Simulator is also available on Switch and Xbox at its regular price of $19.99 USD. While the game and previous DLCs are accessible on the eShop, Xbox, and PlayStation digital storefronts, the Car Junkyard DLC for consoles is still in development.
