Go-Go Town! Is Ready To Build And Bustle With First Major Update

“More Space! Zone Customization! Fast Travel! CONTENT!”

More Content And Customization To Make Your Dream Town

Let’s Go, Go, Go, Mayor!

Hey Townies! Go-Go Town! is here with their first major update titled Build and Bustle, an update full of community-requested content and customization updates to definitely make the town your own. As the Steam community log post says: “More Space! Zone Customization! Fast Travel! CONTENT!”

First off on the highlights are the larger town map, where the developers have “massively increased the size of the map”, allowing for more leeway in creativity and exploration. Your town is now bigger than ever! Head on over to your trusty local real estate agent, Stanley S. Trollson, to start construction on those empty plots. In addition to more land to build on, every single zone can now be fully customized to your liking! This means every town will be fully unique, as the size, layout, and location of the land spaces can be moved and adjusted according to your vision. Too big of a farm? Split it into smaller micro farms with its own specialty. Not too keen on fishing? Shrink that fishing zone. Want a massive green forest? Expand forestry to the max. What you want, you got it! There is also a newly added Mining industry zone, so get those shiny new Mining Shafts to work to find the hidden riches just beneath your feet!
For exploration, there are two new explorable maps, with a treasure trove of content just waiting to be discovered. Get those adventurer hats on and investigate the wonders beyond your town, starting with the Hedge Maze! Rumor has it that there’s a lot of loot to be taken…if you can get out of the maze in one piece, that is.

Exploration Made Easy With The Subway And Better Vehicles

With now a more sizable town, walking around on foot sounds like a pain. Well, don’t fret! No sore legs for you with the addition of the subway system into the game. Fast travel with ease by going to and fro subway stations in your little suburb, from one end to the other. There are a total of four subway lines, with five stations each to place wherever you’d like.

There’s also the vehicle option, where you can ride a bicycle, a tricycle, or even a beetle creature. However, players have been losing their bikes more often than not after being distracted, and can’t seem to find them. The town has got you covered there now too—place vehicle racks and car parks with proper signage and bright yellow marks wherever you’d like, which gives you the ability not only to park there but to summon assigned vehicles at will. Say goodbye to the cluttered streets and missing trikes!

Six New Townies, And Over 70+ More “Thing-a-majigs”

Six new townies are moving into town, too! Welcome them with a stylish new look brought to you by the new cosmetic options to choose from, from hairstyles to clothes. There are also “more than 70+ new thing-amajigs” to spice up your town with, from Roman-style columns to giant chess pieces and new bunches of flowers, to name a few. For a more detailed rundown on the patch notes, head on over to Go-Go Town’s Steam development log for more information.
