Collaboration With SneakyBox Team

SneakyBox collaborated with Curve Games and No Brake Games to add VR capabilities to Human Fall Flat. The devs “spoke to several potential developers” and ultimately ended up with SneakyBox. In this project, almost a dozen people were involved in providing the VR treatment to Human Fall Flat, and it took 10 months to complete.

The devs also answered the question, “Why not a first-person view?” First-person view is used in most VR games to make the experience more immersive to players. However, this is not the route the dev has taken for Human Fall Flat. “To put things simply, while a first-person perspective offers a more immersive experience, in this particular instance, you would vomit like those kids in the Dennis the Menace movie.” They shared. The devs are thinking ahead, preventing dizziness-related issues that may arise from a first-person view when playing this game because of the wobbly movement of characters.
The devs also asked the SneakyBox team about their favorite thing to do in this game, which is dabbing after throwing another player out of the map. The team also mentioned that completing puzzles or interacting with in-game objects, in general, is more intuitive in VR “as the player has better hand control and coordination.” The devs will also release some dev blogs, showing the development process of this game before its release. Watch out for more information by following the developers and the game’s website.

Double The Mayhem, Double The Fun!

Human Fall Flat VR is a co-op puzzle platformer game where players must navigate different dreamscapes to finish a level with a new twist of VR perspective and controls. In this version, you will use the VR controllers to control your character’s arm, offering more physicality and ingenious ways to interact with in-game objects.

Find yourself wobbling in mansions, castles, and other locations solo or with other players. To make your experience more engaging and rewarding, each level has multiple routes. This gives you the creative freedom to tackle puzzles in different ways. You can play with up to 4 players and fully experience the incoming mayhem. Take note that you need a VR headset to play this game.

The price information is not listed as of the moment, but you can wishlist this game on Steam to get notified! Wobble your way through various dreamscapes in third-person view in Human Fall Flat VR on October 31!
