Moon experiments gone wrong, and it is up to you to fend off the invasion of meat-based machines in Iron Meat! This action shooter game features mutated humans and machine hybrids. Dodge bullet barrages and laser beams as you try to survive the horrific experiments of Yuri Markov. Perhaps you can even find a way to stop The Meat - the interdimensional biomass that created these monstrosities.

With nine levels, you can expect gory and brutal fights against unnerving creatures born from top-secret experiments on the moon. To complete each stage, you have to defeat their bosses, who are not easy to defeat, as these creatures are the pinnacle of interdimensional mutation. You can even fight against a train-meat hybrid in this game! These bosses also have multiple phases, which increases the challenge of defeating them.

Like Contra and Metal Slug, Iron Meat also features couch co-op. If you find fighting these mutations a tad lonesome, you can play with another player to leave more trails of blood and flesh. Moreover, there are over 30 unlockable skins to choose from, making each character unique while raining a hail of bullets against your enemies! Double the carnage and have fun with your friend!

Strictly Limited Physical Editions

Strictly Limited is also releasing a limited physical version of Iron Meat for PS5 and Nintendo Switch for $34.99. According to its website, “these editions will only be available via Strictly Limited and will be the ONLY physical version of the game worldwide.” Strictly Limited will only produce 4,000 copies for the Switch version and 2,500 copies for the PS5 version.
