Lethal Company celebrated its first anniversary last October 23rd, signifying a milestone for the game. In celebration of its birthday and alongside the Steam Scream Fest 2024, the co-op survival horror title is now available for 30% off for only $6.99 USD! In celebration of their anniversary, the Version 65 patch introduced some temporary changes, such as players wearing cool birthday hats and the increased frequency of sales in the store. Additionally, furniture in the ship now gives you luck, “which is factored into the amount that the quota increases when you fulfill it.”

New Game In The Works

After its success, developer Zeekerss has more up his sleeve—specifically, a game called Welcome To The Dark Place. The game has been in development since 2019, its trailer released on the dev’s YouTube channel even before Lethal Company. This title seems more like a singleplayer horror adventure game in a text-based choose-your-own-adventure format. The player finds themselves in the titular The Dark Place, a “nightmare playground of ideas.” You must find a way out…but don’t forget the six rules you must abide with, lest a tragedy befalls you.

But don’t worry, Lethal Company fans! He has also stated that development will still continue for the title, assuring players saying that he is “not done with Lethal Company.” He apologized on the Steam news log that he couldn’t do a full-sized update this time, but hopefully this tidbit would keep everyone’s spirits up.
