Step into the shoes of 12-year-old Lil once again through this exclusive physical edition release of Lil’ Guardsman for the Nintendo Switch! This edition will be launching later this week on August 8th, 10:00 PDT / 13:00 EDT, on Super Rare Games’ official website for $38.07 USD. Each customer can only purchase a maximum of two copies due to its limited quantity. Only 3000 copies will be sold through this event, so make sure you get those speedy hands armed and ready!

Lil, 12 Years Old And Official Castle Guardsman

You wake up one day and you’re suddenly tasked with standing in for your castle guardsman father at the guard shed at the castle gate for one shift. That shouldn’t be too hard of a job, right? Well, things suddenly change when while on the job, Lil draws the attention of the three royal advisors, each with their own secret agenda…and they need Lil’s help to forward their ambitions! In Lil’ Guardsman, players will play as 12-year-old kid Lil, who gets caught up with internal affairs and conspiracies, with the fate of the castle in their tiny hands. It’s up to you to decide whether or not to allow over 100+ characters through the gates.

As Lil, question creatures of all species using your brain powers of deduction and ascertain if their purpose of visiting threatens the very existence of the kingdom. But beware, not all of them will be nice enough to leave without retaliating…

According to reviews, the game plays out similar to Papers, Please and Contraband Police, but it is a slightly more comedic and lighthearted take. Users praised it for its fully voiced cast with an interesting plot, but marked down some points for its short play time and unfixed bugs.
