My Time at Evershine Kickstarter Support Reached $1 Million in 26 Hours!

Completed the initial goal of $20K in just 35 minutes!

The Latest Addition to My Time Series

Supporters Showed Their Love To the Developers

Pathea Games announced My Time at Evershine’s Kickstarter is now live. This game is the third installment of the My Time Series. The initial goal was only $200K, but supporters went beyond that to show their support. According to its developer, the initial goal was reached in just 35 minutes, and they accrued roughly 1.2 million US dollars as of now, proving the mounting number of support from its fanbase and interested players!

My Time at Evershine fits within the universe of its predecessors, making it more interesting for long-time fans of the series. You are a newly appointed governor and must execute the North Development Plan to thwart the advancement of the Duvos Empire into the Alliance territory. “Your job will be to build up the infrastructure (either by prefabs or DIY), recruit settlers, tame the wilds, and build up your settlement into a town, and along with the Northern Rangers, defend it,” according to Pathea Games.

Acknowledging Past Mistakes and Promising Improvements

Though Pathea Games improved the narrative and gameplay mechanics of My Time at Sandrock, they felt that there was still room for improvement. One issue they brought up is the incomplete delivery of the multiplayer aspect due to budget constraints. They also mentioned that the ending is quite a drag to finish, and the building mechanics are not too user-friendly.

This time, the devs aim to lower the number of romanceable characters in exchange for a richer interaction and compelling narrative. Moreover, they promise to have the multiplayer aspect on day 1 of the game’s release, where you can play with the other three players. If you are soloing the game, you can also have three followers to help you build structures, gather resources, or fight enemies! However, the developer warned about openly romancing your followers because “there might be problems.”

One of the noticeable changes is their art style. The devs will take a more mature approach to their artistic design and add more details to its world. Last but not least, they are aiming to make this game mod-friendly so modders can add their stories to this game.
