Neo Harbor Rescue Squad Reporting For Duty With November 12 Release
Be Neo Harbor City’s best response team!
Welcome To The Rescue Squad, Rookie
Saving Lives, One Call At A Time
Have no fear, the Rescue Squad is here! Neo Harbor Rescue Squad is officially launching on November 12th, 2024 on PC through Steam and PlayStation 5. Test your critical thinking, decision-making, and hand-eye coordination in this fast-paced and action-filled minigame bonanza and visual novel combo! Neo Harbor City’s Rescue Squad has lived in the shadow of the city’s Fire Department for way too long, and it’s time to show everyone what you’ve got. As the team’s newest member, players will be swiftly responding to emergencies all across the city, dealing with patients, and showing the rival Fire Department and pesky news reporter Betty Woo what a Rescue Team member is all about.
Through a frantic and battle-like triage system, you will be able to quickly monitor the patients in each scene and their vitals, carefully choosing who to prioritize. Juggle the multiple waves of patients in each emergency call, capturing the overall essence and urgency required of a real paramedic job. In treating the patients, players will need to master over 50 different treatment minigames (most of them intense, some even hilarious) to stabilize patients and to keep them from going critical. Perform CPR, stop nosebleeds, wrap bandages, inject a syringe, even use a defibrillator—there’s various ways needed to save someone’s life! You will be given a rank with each emergency, based on the speed, skill, and overall condition of the patients after the necessary procedures. Improve your team’s reputation with high ranks, and become the top responder in the city!
Inspired By Real Paramedics
A dash of realism is in the game as well, as it is directly inspired by real stories from emergency personnel, just turned up a notch into an “over-the-top, dramatic tale of teamwork and rivalry.” BancyCo co-founder Nancy Yeung also was majorly inspired by her hometown of Hong Kong for the overall look of Neo Harbor City and its vibrancy—set your sights on the dim sum shops, night markets, and the amusement park in the game!
You are also able to live the life as a citizen of Neo Harbor City, with the ability to make decisions through dialogue choices a la visual novel style. Deal with the public with your good speaking skills, advancing the story and getting to know more about the city and the people around you.
Neo Harbor Rescue Squad will be available to purchase on Steam and the PlayStation Store, with the price to follow. Wishlist the game on these storefronts and follow BancyCo on their X (Twitter) and Discord server to be updated when the full game launches! However, a demo is available on Steam right now for the Steam Next Fest until October 21st should you wish to try it out first.
