REKA House Building Competition Ongoing

Show off your best witch cottage creations!

Winners Are Awarded With Official REKA Merch

Send In Your Creations Until September 30th

Calling all creative house builders—witch-y simulator game REKA has a house building competition ongoing right now as part of their Early Access Launch! If you’re interested in showcasing your cozy chicken-legged cottage, head on over to the official REKA Discord server to submit your entry. The competition will last until September 30th, and two crowned winners will be awarded with some official REKA merch, including a REKA branded t-shirt!

“We want to see all of your wacky and wonderful ideas come to life within the world of REKA through your very own house builds. Cozy cottages, magnificent mansions, humorous homesteads and sturdy sanctuaries - essentially anything you can imagine we want to see it!” they shared on the official announcement post on Discord. Builds will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, aesthetics, and attention to detail, on both the interior and exterior of the house. Entries are to be posted in the specific channel on the Discord server, and can be submitted in either video form (maximum of 10 seconds) or through four photos. Only the most recent entry will be considered as your official submission!

Get those creative thinking hats on and get building in the cozy world of REKA!

REKA Is Delivering The Experience Of A Witch Life

REKA’s launch week has been nothing short of great, with the game receiving positive attention and feedback from its player base. Its Steam page shows that REKA has gotten a Very Positive review rating, with 87% of the current 616 reviews recommending the title. Players are loving the visuals and vast exploration, as well as the coziness of it all. Some people just don’t want to think about combat and would just want to take in the environment of the game—and REKA gives just that. While there are some gripes with the length and the small pool of content, it’s a concern that people attribute to it being an Early Access title. Rest assured, the developers have declared that they have been hard at work into improving the game.

With the game still being in active development due to its Early Access status, it’s just going to get better from here on out. They have posted an Early Access roadmap as well, detailing the plan for the game’s future. And of course, even with the roadmap posted, “things might change slightly as we’ll be listening to your feedback very closely,” Emberstorm Entertainment shared.

However, if you’d like to hop right on into the world of majestic woodlands as a cozy little witch, REKA is available to play on PC via Steam.
