Developer Pounce Light has just released the demo for their cozy castle-building sandbox game Tiny Glade. This was released alongside the Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration up on Steam right now.

The demo allows you to play in the summer glade map—one of the five glades planned for the final version. While you build your cozy little cottage or sprawling and magnificent castle using the array of building tools at your disposal, you will be accompanied by four original soundtracks made by composer Oda Tilset. The music tracks adapt to the time of day, and the progression of the glade. And a treat for those who would like to flaunt their resplendent creation—a photo mode is also available, making it much easier to take different types of photos at your leisure.

A Not-So-Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade is a relaxing building game, where the possibilities are endless. There are no objectives or combat or anything of that sort—just explore and let your creativity do all the work! You can choose to make a small and snug cabin in the middle of the woods, or go the opposite route and construct a massive and grandiose mansion that stretches as far as the eye can see. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have the creative juices for this kind of thing—the building tools are designed to make the experience easy and seamless, so it might seem impossible to create a monstrosity. Nature is also your companion in game; the vast forest, the fauna and flora that wrap around your buildings, fireflies that illuminate the night, and best of all, waddling sheep that you can pet!

Just kick back, put up walls and windows and roofs with the click of a button, pet the nearest fluffy sheep, and unwind to the chill atmosphere and music.
