Dead Cells Crossover’s Hidden Benefit
RyseUp Studios released an update to fans worrying about the potential delay with Roboquest’s roadmap. The Endless Update is the last part of the roadmap and will have new and exciting features for players to enjoy the game. The developers assured that everything was right on schedule and even mentioned that the Dead Cells crossover “made us release the Weapon Filter system earlier than expected and was there instead of… not having an update.”
The Dead Cells Update for Roboquest features a new quest, feature, and item. The Collector, an NPC straight from Dead Cells, will be hidden in one of the levels in Roboquest. This NPC will give you a new quest and move to your Basecamp once it is fulfilled. Here, you can unlock the Weapon Filter system, where you can double the chance of weapon loot or disable its drop completely. The crossover also includes the melee weapon Panchanku and Red Scarf from Dead Cells. The Panchanku is a nunchaku but with frying pans. You can also get the Red Scarf, the iconic clothing of the Dead Cells’ protagonist.
The Final Update for 2024
The Endless Update is Roboquest’s final update in 2024 and will be released this coming Winter. The developers assured fans that everything is up to speed, but they have not provided clear information about this update. “You probably have lots of questions regarding the Endless Update, some of which have potentially obvious answers,” the devs shared. Maybe the name of the update itself gives away the upcoming content.
The developers also mentioned upcoming announcements and events this October. Some of these will be posted on Steam and their social media accounts. However, they teased an important announcement this coming November. So follow their Steam page and social media accounts to stay up-to-date with Roboquest!

Roboquest is an FPS and Roguelite game where you play solo or with another player. You are a rebooted Guardian in this game, revived by a young girl named Max. Together, you will explore the desolate desert and canyons and find a way for mankind to survive. However, the journey is not easy as these locations are full of robots designed to hinder you at every turn. Why are they vehemently attacking you? What are they trying to hide? Mankind’s survival is at stake, and the whole world relies on you and Max to uncover the truth.
