Roboquest Devs Dropped New RQVR Trailer
With the help of Flat2VR Studios
Gear Up, Go Rogue, And Smash Some Robots In VR
Roboquest VR New Information
What’s better than smashing evil robots? Smashing them in VR! RyseUp Studios released a second trailer of Roboquest VR, or simply RQVR. In Roboquest, you will run and fight to survive in a canyon sprawling with corrupted machines. Personalize your fighting style by selecting a Guardian class, then dive into a procedurally generated map, with each run offering a unique challenge. For fans of fast-paced roguelite shooter games, Roboquest VR will put a new twist to your gaming experience!
In their latest announcement, the devs clarified that RQVR is a standalone game and not tied to the Roboquest game. This means that owning Roboquest will not grant you access to RQVR because it has a specific set of unique features, including the most important VR capability. “It isn't just a 'port' of the game, it's a full VR adaptation,” they shared.
They also mentioned that Flat2VR will handle RQVR’s development as they made some VR versions of popular games, such as Half-Life 2 and Flatout. Recently created last March 2024, This studio aims to bridge the gap between traditional games and VR experiences. The newest addition to Flat2VR’s increasing library of VR games is Roboquest.
Though RyseUp Studios developed Roboquest, they established their role for this upcoming game. The devs mentioned they are only helping to some extent and that Flat2VR has full control over RQVR’s development. The current plan is to bring an immersive VR experience of Roboquest in 2025. The game can be played on Steam VR, MetaQuest, and PlayStation VR2. Remember to buy the appropriate VR headset to play this game in the future!
Roboquest Upcoming Endless Update
For some Roboquest-related news, the devs announced more information about the Endless Update, which will be released by October and November. No specific information was revealed in their recent Devblog, but they hinted that some questions regarding this update “have potentially pretty obvious answers.” The devs also suggested following their Discord and X accounts for new events and announcements.
