Shutter Stroll Strolling Into Steam In September

Take a breather and a picture while you stroll through gorgeous islands

Shutter Stroll Re-Releasing On Steam

Cozy Photography For Everyone

In a dev blog post on Itch.io posted yesterday, August 4th, developer Jannik Boysen announced that Shutter Stroll finally has a confirmed release date on Steam! The game will be released on the 6th of September, along with a huge update and a ton of new content. With the addition of the new tweaks and content, the price will be increased on Itch.io to equal that with the Steam version, from $5 USD to $5.99 USD.

“I am beyond proud to finally bring this update to you all, it’s been a wild ride leading up to here, and I cannot await the day it launches! Even if you own the game already, wishlisting the game over on Steam would be a great way to support me making games by giving the algorithm a little push!” Boysen shared in the post.

With that said, Shutter Stroll can now be wishlisted on Steam, should you wish to be notified once it’s available for purchase.

Capture The Beauty With Your Camera

Shutter Stroll is a generative photography simulator where players can visit an infinite number of procedurally generated islands, strolling around and relaxing with your trusty camera in hand. Set out and immerse yourself in vibrant worlds with breathtaking sceneries, taking as many photos as you like to find that perfect photo. There’s no goal set for you by the game itself—make your own goals and capture the magic!

Shutter Stroll was originally released on Itch.io four years ago, back in June of 2020. Since then, developer Boysen has been releasing updates for the game based on player feedback until 2021. Three years later, the game is now being revived through a Steam re-release, furthering its development.
