New Yokai Forms, A Thrilling Boss Battle, And Romanceable Characters

Tales of Seikyu just opened up playtest signups, and a lucky 1,000 players will be selected to participate in the test run! The playtest will run from October 24th to November 4th, a total of 10 glorious days to try out and begin your journey in this wonderful Seikyuian land. Interested players can head on over to the Tales of Seikyu Steam page and click on the large Request Access button to be listed on the waitlist. A perfect way to experience the cozy autumn season, with Tales of Seikyu!

The playtest is not just a simple demo—the developers over at ACE Entertainment promise that despite being only a 10-day playtest, it will have a large amount of content to try and discover. Friendship, romance, and adventure await! Players will be able to manage their very own farm in a Yokai-filled land, while also exploring their unique shape-shifting powers with two new yokai forms (the Slime and Crow Tengu) and mingling with the townsfolk. One of those townsfolk might just be your forever after…do you have what it takes to reach a full 10 hearts and to win them over? Or if you’re up to show your combat prowess, there is also a boss battle lying in wait for brave adventurers to seek. Not all those who live on Seikyu are welcoming to outsiders such as you.

With that said, ACE Entertainment also highly encourages the chosen players to provide constructive feedback. “Your thoughts, feedback, and opinions will help us shape the future of the game!”

Retreat To The Calm, Yokai-Filled Countryside In Tales Of Seikyu

Tales of Seikyu is a beautiful fantasy farming simulator set in the fictional land of Seikyu, where you play as a protagonist who, along with their sister, Kon, has bought a house in the peaceful countryside, marking the beginning of a new, leisurely life! In your comfortable little homestead, tend to your crops and livestock, and sell the produce to earn money to make an abandoned farmhouse into a lovely abode. While you’re not being a farmer and rancher, you can shape-shift as you please and explore the vast land waiting for you out there! Whether you’re flying in the air as a Crow Tengu or climbing cliffs without breaking a sweat as a Dryad, there is no piece of land in Seikyu that you can’t discover—you might even find some hidden treasures and relics of the past during your adventures.

Of course, not everything is all sunshine and rainbows, as enemies and adversaries are still out there causing mayhem. Unleash your unique abilities in combat, and keep yourself and your friends safe. Once that’s over and done, you can always retreat back to your cozy village for some fresh air…and perhaps some romance there too.

Tales of Seikyu is available to be wishlisted on Steam right now! The game’s release date is planned sometime in 2025. With no concrete date as of writing, make sure to wishlist the game and follow ACE Entertainment on social media in order to receive updates!
