A traveling salesman meets a bizarre town
Thank Goodness It’s On Sale!
Special promotion for a special game
Coal Supper, a two-man UK-based Indie developer, offers a special promotion for Thank Goodness You’re Here! Currently, the game is 20% off on Steam and Nintendo Switch eShop. Originally priced at $19.99, you can get this precious gem of a game right now for $15.99 in both digital shops.
Keep in mind that this special promotion only lasts for 40 hours, so strike the iron now while it's hot!
Jump and Slap Your Way to the Big World
In Thank Goodness You’re Here!, you are a traveling salesman supposed to meet the mayor of Barnsworth. However, the city’s mayor is quite a busy man, and you can spend your time taking odd jobs from its residents. Jump and slap as you try to resolve each resident’s problems and get entangled with their narrative.
The game’s controls are quite simplistic, as you can only jump and slap anybody or anything in the city. Don’t worry though, because that’s all you need to solve their problems! So jump down a well, slap an obstacle, and spend your time while waiting for your big meeting with the mayor in Thank Goodness You’re Here!
A Short Game with a Heap of Praises
Though you can finish this game in 3-4 hours, the time you spend is well worth it! Most players and critics praised this game for its rich humor and conventional ways of solving quests. “A bold bit of masterfully orchestrated comedy that confounds expectations at every conceivable turn,” Eurogamer says.
Since you are literally a small man in this big city, there are various ingenious ways to fulfill the resident's requests. For instance, you can travel down the beer line to reach the pub’s basement. Moreover, the city is littered with wacky and innuendo-filled interactions between NPCs, making you want to explore all its nook and cranny. This fun and creative way of completing quests and interacting with NPCs leaves a highly positive impression on critics and players alike. If you want a short but fun game, Thank Goodness You’re Here! is right for you!
