The Outlast Trials Launches Project Lupara and Season 1 With Lots Of New Features

New Prime Asset, Franco “Il Bambino” Barbi
With His Time Limited Special Event, Bambino
Attention, Reagents! The Outlast Trials’ newest content update Project Lupara is here, and is ready to elevate your gameplay experience with its plethora of additions and upgrades.
One of the major updates is a whole new Prime Asset named Franco “Il Bambino” Barbi, a formidable opponent with his traps and sawed-off shotgun named Lupara. Hailing from the mafia of New Orleans, Franco is a ‘big baby’ with a boomstick for a pacifier who wrecks havoc and violence against others, driven by his entitlement, greed, impotence, and insecurities. Reagents will be able to face him through the story trial “Poison the Medicine” on a brand-new map called The Docks, where he resides.
Through his special event, Franco will appear as an opponent in all other Trials and MK-Challenges for four weeks following this update. Are you ready for a Franco-Gooseberry or Franco-Coyle duo?
New Game Mode, Trials, And Even A Mini Game
Aside from “Poison the Medicine”, three other new Trials and MK-Challenges are added into the game, namely “Fuel the Release,” “Teach the Police Officer,” and “Mansion Escape.” In addition to that, a roguelite game mode that pits players against randomized Trials called Escalation Therapy is introduced. As any roguelite, you start off with nothing, but grow stronger as you gain more experience. But beware—the Trials get harder with every passing feat. The longer you survive this therapy, the bigger the rewards you get at the end.
The interface has also been revamped with new visuals, an added difficulty selection, and a Tasks page which players can accomplish for daily or weekly rewards. If you want a little breather from the thrilling horror that the Outlast Trials throw at you, unwind with the new sleep room mini-game called the Stroop Test, which tests your mind.
