After nearly two years in development, Trash Goblin is finally releasing on Early Access this November 6th! As detailed in the teaser above, fans should mark their calendars for the first week of November for Trash Goblin day. The promotional video also features some of its gameplay in action, such as chipping away the dirt from the little treasures, as well as scrubbing them clean to be presentable, and combining or upcycling these trinkets into something new. In a separate post on their official X (Twitter), they noted that there will be “new characters, quests & trinkets,” and so much to explore in Early Access. Definitely something exciting to look forward to!

“We're so excited to have the launch date out there - we're just going to throw ourselves at making Trash Goblin as great as possible for the launch, and then carry on full speed regardless after that date all the way through to the 1.0 launch which is probably going to be next year!” Developers Spilt Milk Studios shared in the announcement post.

Eager players who wish to try out the game for themselves beforehand can also head on over to the game’s Steam storefront and download the demo, which demonstrates the core gameplay loop of the game.

Console Release Planned?

Additionally, if you watch the whole launch date announcement trailer to the end, you’ll find out that one of the customers asked a rather “random” question—”I hope it comes to consoles one day…” and the protagonist’s little hand cursor seemingly hovers over the “Switch, or…?” option.
