V Rising Holds Slasher Film Art Contest, And Re-releases Free Seasonal DLC

If those prizes look amazing, then the next question is—what are the mechanics? The work should contain at least ONE V Blood character from V Rising, showcasing the theme, Horror Movie Slashers—”Communication and execution of this theme will be a primary factor in judging submissions.” The competition accepts various visual mediums, such as illustrations, movie posters, animations, 3D sculptures, live-action videos—anything that can showcase your V Blood subject and creativity is good to go. However, the art piece MUST be original and made solely and entirely by the artist without AI assistance or tracing. This will further be authenticated by the required submission of a form of evidence that you worked on the piece, such as the original image file with all the layers, or a video time-lapse. Image submissions are allowed for a maximum size of 2000x2000 pixels, while videos are limited to 120 seconds and must be linked as YouTube videos, or sent in QuickTime, .mov, or MP4 formats.

Participants can submit up to three entries, but the developers recommend one “fantastic entry” instead. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM GMT on Thursday, November 7th, with entries to be sent to contest@playvrising.com along with the artist's full name (optional) and social media or art station URL for crediting purposes. Additionally, while blood and violence are permitted in artworks as keeping with the slasher theme, nudity and sexual violence are to be strictly avoided.
