Motion Twin, the developer of the critically acclaimed Dead Cells, is releasing a new game called Windblown on October 25. In this game, you will follow the story of a fledgling Leaper who must save your floating village from being devoured by the Vortex. Many warriors have tried and failed in this impossible task, and it is up to you and your friends to bring this threat to an end. Get catapulted into the Vortex and ensure your village’s safety.

Team up with two other players in a chaotic battle against the Sentinels, the Vortex’s most ardent protectors. These brutal and relentless constructs must be defeated in order to advance to the heart of the Vortex. But don’t despair just yet—your deceased predecessors will give you an edge in battle by allowing you to absorb their memories, unlocking new and powerful skills and crafting various gear.

During your solo or multiplayer runs, you can equip two weapons. Continuously attack to unleash super-powerful and hidden Alterattacks that can change the tide of battle. Keep in mind that combat in this game is challenging but fair. You must memorize enemy patterns and collect memories to become more powerful bit by bit. If you can’t handle the heat, you can always join other Leapers online to level the playing field.

Developing The Game With Players

Motion Twin announced the development of a 3D isometric action game called Windblown on December 8, 2023. Since then, the developers have continuously released gameplay information and its background story, inviting players to try its demo to provide feedback and help polish the game.

Although Windblown is currently in early access, the intention is to develop it with player feedback in mind. “Windblown is a game born from the idea of developing it alongside players.
